Magician Danny Dew passed away in 1996 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the namesake of IBM Ring 55 “The Bert Easley/Danny Dew Ring” but he was beloved by all the magicians in Arizona and around the world as you will see in this video. On October 2nd, 1996, the night before Danny's Memorial Service, a gathering of local magicians took place at the Society of American Magicians Assembly 248 in a local steakhouse. Among those speaking about their memories of Danny were Brad Zinn, Ed Keener, Andre Kole, Robert Bluemle, Terry Godfrey, and Chris Allen. The evening was emceed by Jay Malbrough.
