Harry Anderson performed in the Phoenix and Valley of the Sun many times before he finally “hit it big”. He traveled in a pick-up truck with a “dog house” camper shell, wearing overalls and passing the hat after performing on the grass at a community college. He became close friends with Jack Sutherland at Easley's Fun Shop (and later Sun Magic.) Jack Sutherland marketed Harry's effect “Needle Through Arm” among others. Harry had great impact on the magic scene in Phoenix.
