Stan was from the Northwest and according to Jack Sutherland was active in showing exotic birds at “Bird Shows” (similar to Dog Shows!). At Jack's insistence, Stan put together a touring illusion show that operated a phone room promotion and raised money for various charities across the West. The Kramien show “Magic Capades” played Arizona with regularity. He was affable and friendly with many of the local magicians, and often was seen at the local magic shops with Jack Sutherland behind the counter. Stan also wrote and sold a comprehensive “phone room promotion” course that launched the careers of several other touring magicians. Click on photos below to see videos of Stan Kramien.
